From the day we template your kitchen it can take roughly seven days to manufacture and fit your new worktops, however this may take longer for larger or more complicated jobs.

We use a bridge saw to cut the slab of stone into the general shape required. We then use angle grinders with a variety of different blades to shape and mould the stone by hand.

We seal the stone on the same day we fit it. However, you will need to seal it again approximately six months later, and every twelve months after that.

Quartz is non-porous and hardwearing. Plus, it does not require sealing, making it very low maintenance. It is also available in a range of colours and patterns.

Quartz is made of approximately 90% quartzite and 10% resin, which helps bind the stone together. For this reason, quartz is sensitive to extreme heat, and we highly recommend NOT putting any hot pans or dishes directly on the surface. In addition, although quartz is extremely strong, it is not indestructible, and heavy knocks can cause chips on exposed edges.
